Travel Stop

Our little office is over at the New Gram Panchayat Shopping Center in Chikhli. It’s shop number 17, right near Layan Garden. It’s a nice spot because you can see the trees from the garden when you step outside for a break. People come in mostly to figure out how to get from one place to another. We spend a lot of time looking at schedules and trying to find the right routes. Navsari is a busy area and things are always moving. Sometimes it gets a bit crowded in the shop when a few families come in at once, but we make do. There are papers everywhere and the phone doesn’t stop much. We’ve been here long enough that we know most of the neighbors. We aren't trying to be anything other than a place where you can sort out your travel. It’s not a fancy setup with leather chairs or anything. Just some desks and computers. We talk to people about buses, trains, and where they need to be by Monday morning. It’s a lot of typing and checking dates. The shop center is usually buzzing with people doing their daily errands. We like being part of that. Sometimes the internet slows down and we have to tell people to wait a minute, but that’s just how it goes here. We keep it simple and just try to help folks get where they are going. We just take it one booking at a time.
