Navkar

Our office, Navkar, is located at 501 Siddhashila Apartment. We are right near Anand Hospital on Sandhkuwa Station Road. It is a busy part of town because of the trains and the hospital. We hear sirens and whistles all day long. The apartment is on the fifth floor, and the lift is a bit slow, so we often take the stairs. It’s not a big corporate headquarters. It feels more like someone’s living room. We have a few desks and some old metal filing cabinets. We’ve been here for a long time, and we know all the other people in the building. We don’t have a fancy reception area. If you come by, you just walk into the main room. We usually have a pot of tea going. We don't do any big promotions or ads. People find out about us from their friends. It’s a quiet way to work. We spend a lot of time on the phone or writing letters. The view from the window is mostly the roofs of other buildings and the hospital entrance. We like being close to the station because it makes it easy to get around. We don't have a strict schedule. If the work is done, we go home. If not, we stay. It’s just a simple, local business. We aren't trying to change the world, just doing our part for the people who need us.
