Our facility is spread across Plot No. 470, 471, and 472 in the New GIDC area of Kabilpore. Having three plots gives us a bit more room to move around than some of the other units nearby. Sona Extrusion Pvt. Ltd. has been part of this industrial estate for quite a few years. Kabilpore is a busy area, and the GIDC is constantly expanding. You’ll see a lot of trucks lined up along the road outside our gates, waiting to load or unload. The buildings are large sheds, basically, which is what we need for the machinery. It can get very loud inside when everything is running at once. We use a lot of heavy equipment, so the floor is concrete and a bit stained from years of use. It’s a real working environment. We don't have a fancy lobby or a receptionist in a suit. Usually, you just walk in and find someone in the shop area. The summers are tough because the metal roofs trap the heat, but we have big fans to keep the air moving. We’re just a group of people making things and making sure they get to where they need to go. It’s a simple life, focused on the production schedule and the daily grind. We know the other business owners on our street and we help each other out when someone’s truck breaks down.
