Shriji Distributors

We are set up in Ghanshyam Bhavan, right on Plot No. 26/31 in the Vanki Bordi area of Shahpore. It’s an old part of town with narrow streets and a lot of history. Shriji Distributors is basically a place full of boxes and ledgers. We spend a lot of time counting things and making sure the trucks are loaded correctly. It’s dusty work sometimes, especially when the wind kicks up around Vanki Bordi. We’ve got a few old fans that hum all day to keep the air moving. It’s not a fancy office with air conditioning in every room. We just keep the windows open when we can. Dealing with distribution means things are always coming and going. Sometimes a shipment is late or something gets misplaced, and we have to spend the afternoon sorting it out. That’s just part of the trade. The neighbors around Shahpore are mostly other businesses, so we all kind of look out for each other. We don’t bother with big ads or anything. Most people find us because they need something specific and they heard we have it. We keep our notes in handwritten books mostly, even if there’s a computer in the corner. It feels more real that way. It’s a busy life, but it’s what we know. We just take it one day at a time here at the bhavan, making sure everything gets where it needs to go eventually.
