The Creative Buddy

We work out of B/205 in Somnath Apartment, which is on Shantadevi Road. The Creative Buddy isn't a typical office with a big sign out front. It’s just a flat where we’ve set up our computers and desks. Working from an apartment means it’s a bit more relaxed than a corporate building. We have the balcony nearby and we can see the street below. Shantadevi Road can get quite noisy in the mornings, but it’s mostly quiet in the afternoons. We spend a lot of time staring at screens, trying to come up with ideas or fixing things that didn't look right the first time. Sometimes we argue about colors or fonts, but that’s just part of the process. We have a small kitchen area where we make our own coffee and tea. It’s a small group of us, so we don't have many rules. We just make sure the work gets finished. People usually call before they come over because the building security can be a bit strict about visitors. It’s a nice enough place to spend the day. We aren't a big firm with hundreds of employees, just a few people trying to make things that look good. It’s a simple setup and it works for what we do. We like being in this part of town because it’s close to everything we need and we can just walk to get lunch.
