Sargam Sarees

We are located right next to the Hanuman Temple at a place called Yamuna Krupa. It’s near the Golwad Gate, which is a very well-known landmark in this part of town. If you get lost, just ask anyone for the temple and they will point you in the right direction. We’ve been running Sargam Sarees from this spot for a very long time. It’s an old building, Yamuna Krupa, but it has a lot of character. We don't have those big glass windows or fancy signs. It’s a very traditional shop. Inside, it’s mostly just shelves and a place for people to sit while we show them the different sarees. The sound of the temple bells is something we hear all day long, and it’s actually quite peaceful despite the busy street outside. Golwad Gate is always full of people and traffic, so it’s a very lively place to be. We are just a local business with a few staff members who have been with us for years. We don't have a mission statement or a fancy corporate office. We just like selling sarees and talking to the people who come in. Sometimes the shop gets a bit crowded, especially during festival times, but we just handle it as it comes. It’s a simple, honest way to make a living in a very historic part of the city. We have been here for generations.
