Msquare Architects

Navsari is a quiet place compared to the big cities. We’re in Premdhan Apartment on the first floor. Gandevi Road has a lot of movement, and being right across from the sub jail is a bit of a funny landmark, but it works when you’re giving someone directions over the phone. We started Msquare Architects because we wanted to work on local houses and buildings right here in town. The office isn't very large, just enough space for the desks and some rolls of drawings. Navsari is small enough that you end up knowing almost everyone who walks by. We don’t have a fancy corporate logo on the wall. Usually, there's just some old project files and a few coffee mugs sitting around. We spend our afternoons mostly drafting or heading out to sites to see how the masonry is coming along. It gets dusty out there, but that’s the job. Sometimes the power goes out for a bit, so we just take a break until it comes back. We don't promise anything crazy; we just try to get the dimensions right and make sure the walls are straight. It’s a decent life here. Most of our clients are just people from the neighborhood or nearby villages who want to build something new. We just take it day by day and try to keep up with the work.
