Modern Road Maker

We operate out of No. 76 on Station Road, right in the Udyog Nagar area of Dhirubhai Wadi. It’s an industrial sort of place, which fits what we do perfectly since we spend most of our time thinking about asphalt and concrete. Making roads isn't as simple as it looks when you're driving on them, and we’ve learned that the hard way over many years. Our office is usually covered in a bit of dust because of all the heavy machinery moving around the district. We’ve got a crew that knows their way around a steamroller and a paving machine. It’s hard work, especially when the sun is beating down on the blacktop. We aren't really the type for big corporate meetings. Usually, we just huddle around a table with some tea and look at the maps for the next stretch of road we’re supposed to lay down. It gets noisy around here with the trains and the factory sounds, but that’s just part of being in Udyog Nagar. We try to make things that last, even if the rain tries its best to wash everything away. It’s a lot of long hours and getting your hands dirty. We’ve been at this long enough to know that every patch of ground is different. We just take it one meter at a time and hope the weather stays clear for the pour. It is a tough job but it needs doing. We’ve been here for years.
