Our shop is on the first floor of the Ratna Raj building. If you know where Golvad Gate is, we are right behind that. It is a very busy area, especially in the afternoons when everyone is out and about. We have been here at Ratna Raj for a good while now. Being on the first floor means we have to carry everything up the stairs, which is a bit of a workout every time a new shipment arrives. The shop isn't anything fancy to look at. We just have our racks and a small counter where we sit. My cousin helps me out during the week because it can get busy. We mostly just focus on having a good mix of clothes. It gets pretty hot in here during the summer months, so we usually have the fan going full blast. We don't really do big sales pitches or anything. People just come in, look around, and see if they like something. We know a lot of the other shop owners in the building, so we often grab tea together. The Golvad Gate area is always loud and full of energy, which we like. Sometimes the parking downstairs is a total mess, but that is just how it is in this part of town. We are usually here from morning until late evening. It is a lot of standing around, but we enjoy seeing the regulars who stop by and checking out the new Ratna Raj inventory.
