Khushi Designer Saree Shop

Khushi Designer Saree Shop is situated in Mota Bazar. If you know where Prabhat Store is, we are just near there. It’s a central part of the market, so it’s easy to find if you're out doing your regular shopping. We focus on sarees, mostly the ones with a bit more embroidery or work on them. The shop has been here for a while. It’s a narrow space, so we have to be careful how we display things. I usually spend my mornings checking the new arrivals and making sure the displays look decent. We have a couple of benches for people to sit on while they look at the different fabrics. My brother helps me out on the busier days, especially when the wedding season starts. The lighting is okay, but we often take the sarees to the doorway so customers can see the real color in the sunlight. Mota Bazar is always crowded, so there’s always a bit of a hum from the street. We don't have a website or anything like that. People just walk in when they are passing by Prabhat Store. It’s a simple way of doing things. We know most of the other shop owners around here, so we often share a cup of tea in the afternoons. It’s a decent place to work and we like being part of the local market scene. We just keep things moving and try to stay organized.
