Jedee Engineering

Jedee Engineering is located at Plot No. 158/159, right near the tempo stand in the Old G.I.D.C area of Kabilpor. Being near the tempo stand means there is constant movement. You hear the engines idling and the drivers shouting to each other all day long. It gives the place a very active, industrial energy. The workshop is a bit grey and the floors have their fair share of oil stains, which happens when you do this kind of work. We aren't trying to win any beauty contests with the building. It’s a functional space where we handle the machinery and the engineering parts. The Old GIDC is a rugged part of town, and we fit right in. There’s a tea stall just around the corner where we usually grab a cup in the afternoon when things slow down for a minute. The roof is made of corrugated sheets, so when it rains, it gets incredibly loud inside, and we have to shout to hear each other. We’ve got a few heavy benches and all the tools are hung up where we can reach them. It’s not a corporate office with carpets; it’s a real shop where stuff gets made and fixed. If you come by, you’ll probably find us in the back with our sleeves rolled up. We stay pretty focused on the tasks at hand until the sun starts to go down.
