We operate out of Plot No 4710 in the GIDC Estate. If you’ve ever walked through a GIDC area, you know exactly what it’s like—lots of activity, trucks moving around, and the smell of industry everywhere. We work with polyplast and engineering, which means we spend a lot of time with molds and plastic materials. It’s a technical job, but we talk about it in plain English around here. The machines run for most of the day, and they can be quite loud, so we’ve all gotten used to shouting over the noise. It isn't a place for someone who likes to stay clean, as there’s always some dust or scrap material around the plot. We don't have a mission statement hanging on the wall; we just have a production schedule that we try our best to stick to. Sometimes the raw material prices go up and we have to adjust, or a machine breaks down and we spend the whole night fixing it. That’s just how the engineering business goes. We’ve been at this plot for a good amount of time, and the staff knows the routine inside and out. We don't try to be fancy. We just produce what’s needed and try to keep things running as smoothly as possible. It’s practical work for practical people.
