N. L. Exports

Our office, N. L. Exports, is located at number 503 in the Harekrishna Complex. It’s a fairly well-known building because it’s so close to Vasant Talkies. Back in the day, the cinema used to be a real landmark, and people still use it to find their way around here. Being on the fifth floor gives us a bit of a view of the street below, though the elevator is a bit slow and moody sometimes. The office is pretty basic. We have a few desks, some filing cabinets, and a whole lot of paperwork. We spend our days coordinating exports, which means a lot of time on the phone with shipping agents and local suppliers. It’s a busy atmosphere because there are so many other offices in the complex. You’re always bumping into someone in the hallway. We don’t have a lot of bells and whistles here. It’s just a place to get the work done. The noise from the traffic on the main road reaches us even up here, but you get used to it after a while. Sometimes we go downstairs to the small snacks shop near the cinema when we need a break. It’s a decent place to work from and we’ve been here for a good while now. We don't try to be anything we aren't. We just show up every day, handle the orders, and head home when the job is finally done.
