Goldprawn Fisheries Private Limited is situated at Raval Nagar, specifically house number 535/1 on plots 21 and 22. We are right on Convent School Road in Bilimora. It’s a busy corner of Gandevi in the Navsari district. We handle fisheries, which means we spend a lot of time thinking about prawns and fish. It’s a practical business. No one here is wearing a tie or sitting in a fancy boardroom. We are usually down by the water or checking the storage areas. The air always smells a bit like the sea, which I guess is expected. We’ve been at this spot for a while. The location on Convent School Road makes it easy for the workers to get here. It’s a local operation, through and through. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that. We just focus on the catches and the sales. Some days are long, starting before the sun even thinks about coming up. It’s a tough trade, but we’ve built a life around it. Navsari is a good place for this kind of work because of the geography. We just try to keep the equipment running and the prawns moving. It’s not complicated, even if it is hard work. Most of us have lived in Bilimora our whole lives and we just keep things moving as they should.
