This particular branch of Dodsal Engg. And Const. Ltd, Qatar is actually located in Navsari, Gujarat. We are based in the Rana Society, which is in the Chhapra area. It’s an interesting mix because while the company has that international tie to Qatar in the name, we are very much a local operation here in India. The office is basically a house in a residential society, which makes it feel a lot more personal than a corporate park. We have a few rooms set up with computers and printers for all our engineering work. Being in Navsari means things are a little slower than in the big metros, which we don’t mind at all. We still have plenty of work to do. We spend our time looking over site plans and managing the logistics for various construction jobs. Usually, there are a few of us here making sure the records are up to date and the files are in order. Sometimes neighbors walk by and say hello while we are working. It’s a quiet place to get things done. We don’t have any marketing people or anyone like that on the payroll. We just handle the engineering side and the construction details. The address at 23 Rana Society is where all our mail goes. We’ve got a small team and we just try to stay organized. It’s a lot of looking at spreadsheets and talking to contractors on the phone.
