Dhanvantari Hospital

Dhanvantari Hospital has been part of Chikhli for quite some time now. When you walk into our place, you'll probably see a few people waiting in the lobby or some of the staff chatting near the main desk. Chikhli isn't the biggest place, so we end up knowing a lot of the families who come through our doors over the years. It’s not like those massive hospitals in the metro cities where you’re just a number on a computer screen. Here, we recognize faces and know who belongs to which family. The building itself has its little quirks, like that one door that always squeaks when it’s windy or the way the light hits the hallway in the evenings. We do our work, keep things tidy, and try to make sure everyone gets seen without too much of a delay. Sometimes the power goes out, and we have to switch over to the generator, which makes a bit of a hum, but everyone is used to it by now. Our nurses are locals who have been here for a long time, and they know who likes their tea with extra sugar. We don’t have a big marketing team or a fancy website because we’re usually too busy just handling the day-to-day stuff that comes up. People come to us because we’re right here in the neighborhood and they know what to expect. It’s a simple setup, but it works for us.
