Bright Engineering Works

Down here in Valsad, specifically along the Lilapore Auranga Road, is where you will find Bright Engineering Works. We are situated near the Hanuman Bhagda post office area. This place is a real workshop. We have been here in Gujarat for quite some time now. It’s the kind of place where your hands stay dirty most of the day. We deal with all sorts of metalwork and mechanical repairs. The shop isn't fancy at all. We have the usual lathes, welding sets, and heavy benches you’d expect in an engineering spot. It gets very hot in the afternoons, especially during the summer months, but we just keep the fans going and stay busy. Most of our neighbors are also into some kind of trade or farming. We know most people around here by name. When someone has a machine break down, they usually bring it over to us to see if we can get it running again. It’s not a corporate setup with meetings and reports. It’s more about looking at a physical problem and picking up a wrench to fix it. Sometimes we have to wait a few days for parts to arrive from the city, but we try to keep things moving as best as we can. It’s a basic life, but we like being part of the local community here in Valsad. We open early and usually close up when the sun starts going down for the evening.
