Laxmi Plastic Industries

We are located in the Mistry Brothers Compounds on College Road. It is over in the Bilimora East area, right near the GIDC. Being on the road to the college means we see a lot of young people walking by every morning and afternoon. Our shop is where we spend almost all our time. We work with plastics, which means there is always the smell of machines and materials in the air. It is an industrial neighborhood, so nobody minds the noise we make. The compound has a few other businesses in it, and we all get along pretty well. We started out with just a little bit of space and slowly took over more as the years went by. We do not have any fancy titles or a big board of directors. It is just us and our machines. Navsari is a good district for this kind of work, and we feel lucky to have a spot here. Our office is just a corner of the factory partitioned off with some plywood. We keep our ledgers there and answer the phone when it rings. We do not do much to promote ourselves. Most of our orders come from people who have been buying from us for a decade or more. We just try to keep the work good and the machines running. It is a busy life, but it is what we know. We are just regular people making plastic items for the local market.
