Nisa Traders

Nisa Traders is situated right at the corner of Bardoli Road, near Grid Char Rasta. We are directly opposite the police station, right there opposite the police station, which makes us easy to find if you’re driving through. Our shop is a bit of a mix of things. We trade in various goods that local people need for their daily lives or their work. The building is an older one and we have stuff stacked up pretty high to make use of the space. You might see us unloading a truck in the morning or loading up someone’s small van in the afternoon. It’s a lot of lifting and moving boxes around. Because we are at a busy intersection, it’s rarely quiet. There’s the sound of horns and people talking all the time. We don't have a corporate strategy or anything like that. We just see what people are buying and try to keep enough of it in stock. Sometimes the floor gets dusty from the road outside, so we spend a fair bit of time with a broom. The staff here is just a couple of guys who have been working together for years. We know the regulars who come in from the surrounding villages. It’s a straightforward business. We buy things, we sell things, and we try to make sure we don’t run out of the basics.
