Anurag Saree

Our shop is called Anurag Saree, and you can find us at number 2-2851 on Sayaji Road. We’re right near the library, which is a nice landmark for people who aren't familiar with the street. It’s a bit of a quiet spot compared to the main market area, which we actually prefer. We have a modest setup here with enough space to display a good variety of sarees. Most of our days are spent waiting for customers to drop in and then spending time showing them different fabrics and designs. It’s not a fast process; people like to take their time, and we don't mind that. We usually have the radio playing softly in the background to fill the silence. The building itself is an older one, so it has a bit of character, though the doors can be a bit creaky. We’ve had to fix the shelves a few times because they tend to sag under the weight of the sarees. My father started this, and now I’m the one mostly handling the day-to-day things. We don't have a big marketing plan or anything like that. We just rely on people knowing we are here and coming back when they need something new. It’s a steady pace of life, and we like being part of the neighborhood near the library. Sometimes it’s just us and the books next door, and that’s fine.
