Steel & Wood

Steel & Wood is located out in Rabale, in the TTC Industrial Area. Our specific spot is R-322 within the MIDC zone. It’s a very industrial part of town, mostly filled with factories and large sheds. Our place fits right in. We’ve got a lot of raw materials coming in and out, so the space is always a bit cluttered with offcuts and metal scraps. It’s a working shop, plain and simple. We don’t have a fancy front office or a sales team in suits. Usually, you’ll find us in work clothes, dealing with the machines or organizing the inventory. The air smells a bit like sawdust and welding sparks most of the time. It’s a big, open space that lets us handle the larger pieces we work on. Being in the MIDC means we have the space we need, even if it’s a bit far out for some people. We’ve been here for years, and the neighbors are all doing similar types of heavy work. It’s a gritty area, but it’s where things get made. We don't worry about the aesthetics of the building much as long as the roof doesn't leak and the power stays on. If you come by, you’ll probably hear the saws running before you even see the door. It’s just how we operate day to day, focused on the tasks at hand.
