Yashraj Biotechnology Ltd.

Yashraj Biotechnology Ltd. is tucked away at Plot C-232 in the TTC Industrial Area of MIDC. It is a bit of a trek to get here if you are coming from the main station. The area is full of chemical plants and big warehouses. Inside our place, it is a bit different because we have to keep things very clean for the biotech work. We wear those thin white coats and caps most of the day. It is a lot of looking into small containers and writing down numbers. We have a lab area and then a section for the bigger equipment. The air conditioning is always running to keep the samples right, so it is actually quite nice inside when it is boiling outside in Navi Mumbai. Our staff is mostly people who live nearby and have been with us for a while. We don't talk much during the quiet hours in the lab, but lunchtime is pretty lively in the break room. We have a small patch of garden near the gate that we try to keep green, but the industrial dust makes it hard. Sometimes the power goes out in the MIDC, and we have to scramble to get the generators going. It is just part of the routine here. We handle a lot of technical stuff, but we are just regular people trying to finish the day's tasks before the commute home.
