Vijaya Maternity & Eye Hospital

Our hospital is over in Sector 17, Vashi, specifically in the Anand Sagar building. We are at 301 Anand Sagar, 105, Abv Rajkumar, right across from where the grain merchants do their business. It’s a busy part of Vashi, so there is always something going on outside. We have a bit of a different setup because we handle both maternity cases and eye problems in the same place. It might seem like an odd combination to some, but it’s how we’ve always operated. We have expectant mothers coming in for their regular check-ups and older folks coming in because they can't see the television as clearly as they used to. This makes for a pretty diverse group of people in our waiting room. The elevators in this building can be a bit slow on busy days, so quite a few people just end up taking the stairs. We’ve been here long enough to see Sector 17 change a lot over the years. Inside the hospital, things are functional and very straightforward. We don’t have any fancy coffee machines or plush carpets to sit on. It’s a medical facility, so we just keep it clean and focused on the patients. The staff has been with us for a long time, so they know the routine well. We try to keep the paperwork simple because we know nobody likes spending their time filling out forms. It’s a local spot where people feel comfortable coming in. We just handle things as they come.
