Vidhi Jumbo Xerox

If you’ve ever been to Vashi Plaza in Sector 17, you might have passed by our shop. We are at Shop No. 12-A on the ground floor. It’s a busy place with people always rushing around for one thing or another. We do a lot of jumbo xerox work, which basically means we have these big machines that take up most of the floor space. It gets pretty loud in here when all the machines are running at once. We get a lot of students from the nearby colleges and lawyers who need piles of documents copied for their cases. Sometimes they are in a huge hurry and we have to move fast to help them. It’s a small shop, so when there are more than three customers inside, it feels really packed and warm. We keep a stash of rubber bands and staplers everywhere. My cousin works with me most days. We usually have the radio playing in the background, but you can barely hear it over the sound of the paper feeders. The air conditioning in the plaza isn’t always great, so it can get a bit stuffy in the afternoon. We don’t really do fancy advertising or anything. People just see our sign and come in because they need copies. It’s a straightforward business. We open early and stay until the last customer leaves. It’s tiring but it’s what we do. No big story, just a lot of paper moving through machines every day.
