Maag Pump Systems India is located in Thacker Tower, right in Sector-17 of Vashi. We are on the first floor, in unit 105. It’s a pretty standard commercial building, and the elevators are sometimes a bit slow, so most of us just take the stairs. The office itself is full of desks and a lot of technical manuals for the pumps we handle. Vashi is always crowded, so getting here in the morning can be a bit of a struggle with the local traffic. Once we are inside, it’s mostly just about answering emails and coordinating with the guys on the technical side. We have some parts stored in the back, but it is mainly an administrative spot. The lighting is that typical office white, which can be a bit tiring by four in the afternoon. We usually go down to the street level for tea or a quick snack when things get slow. It’s not the biggest office in the tower, but it fits the few of us who work here. We spend a lot of time on the phone explaining how the systems work or tracking down where a shipment is. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but nobody really has the time to think about that right now. We are just focused on keeping the orders moving and making sure the paperwork is correct for every person that reaches out to us.
