Elkem South Asia is based in the BSEL Tech Park in Vashi. We occupy units 307 and 308. It’s a pretty big building right in Sector 30-A. Even though we are part of a larger name, our daily life here is pretty grounded. We spend a lot of time looking at data and coordinating with other branches. The office is usually quiet, save for the hum of the computers and people chatting about their weekend. Being in a tech park means there are always people moving around and plenty of places to get coffee downstairs. Our space is organized, but it definitely feels lived-in. There are stacks of reports and maybe some old coffee mugs sitting around. We handle a lot of technical stuff related to materials and metals. It’s not something that everyone understands right away, but it’s important for manufacturing. We don’t have a flashy lobby or anything. People just come in and get to work. The view from the window is mostly of other buildings and the railway station nearby. It’s a convenient spot for those of us who commute from different parts of Mumbai. We aren’t trying to impress anyone with a fancy setup. We just want to make sure the numbers are right and the shipments are on time. It's a steady job with a good team of people who have been together for years.
