Cotton Buds

You can find Cotton Buds over at Shop No. 6 on Plot No. 67 in Sector 17, Vashi. Sector 17 is a really busy part of Navi Mumbai, so there is always something going on outside our door. Our shop is not huge, but we have managed to fit a lot of cotton goods into the space we have. We spend our time checking the quality of the fabrics and making sure everything is stacked neatly on the shelves, though it doesn't always stay that way. People walking by often pop in to see what we have. We mostly deal with cotton because it’s what we know and what people around here seem to want. The plot is in a good location, and we have been here for a bit now. There’s a lot of competition in Vashi, so we just focus on what we are doing in our own little corner. Sometimes the deliveries arrive late because of the traffic on the highway, and we have to wait around to unload everything. It’s just a few of us working here, so we all end up doing a bit of everything, from cleaning the glass to talking to the people who come in. We don’t have any fancy displays, just the items we sell and a counter where we do our billing. It’s a straightforward business and we like it that way. The days go by fast when there are lots of people in the sector shopping for their homes.
