Reliance Petro Marketing Ltd.

I work over at the Reliance Corporate Park on the Thane Belapur Road in Ghansoli. It is a really big place, almost like a small city inside those gates. We are part of the petro marketing side of things. My desk is in a large open area with a lot of other people doing similar work. We spend our days looking at spreadsheets and talking to folks at the fuel stations. There is a lot of traffic on the road outside, especially in the evenings when everyone is trying to head home. The campus has some trees and places to walk, which is nice when the air conditioning gets too cold inside. It’s a very organized environment, which is different from some of the smaller shops I used to work at. We have a cafeteria that gets really busy at lunch time. Everything is scheduled and there are a lot of rules to follow to keep things safe. Most of us are just regular people trying to do our jobs and get through the week. The commute to Ghansoli can be a bit long depending on where you live, but the train station isn't too far away. We deal with a lot of numbers every day, tracking how much fuel is going where. It’s a lot of responsibility but we just take it one task at a time. It's a big operation, but we just focus on our own corner of it.
