Sai Siddhi Clinic

This clinic is located at Shop 4 in the Shilalekh building over in Kamothe. It’s a straightforward little shopfront that we converted into a medical space. Since we’re on the ground floor, it’s easy for anyone to just step inside from the street. We’ve got a small partition that separates the waiting area from where the consultations happen. It’s mostly just me and a helper who handles the front desk and keeps track of who is next in line. The shelves are filled with medical books and some basic supplies we use every day. Kamothe has grown a lot lately, so we see more new faces than we used to. The floor is tiled and we try to keep it shining, though the rain always brings in some mud from the pavement. We deal with common illnesses and general health issues that people in the area have. It’s not a fancy place with high-tech gadgets, just the essential tools for a neighborhood doctor. Sometimes the neighbors come in just to check their blood pressure or get a quick bandage. I usually sit at the wooden desk near the back window. The fan overhead keeps things moving when it gets hot in the afternoons. It’s a small, practical space that serves the people living in the surrounding apartment blocks. We just keep things running one day at a time, making sure everyone gets seen and taken care of before we close the shutters for the night.
