Kharghar is much quieter than the rest of the city. We are in Shop Number 4 at Balaji Angan, which is in Sector 3. It’s a nice area. There are some trees on the sidewalk and the road is wide enough for cars to pass easily. Our shop is on the ground floor. When you walk in, the first thing you notice is the white floor and the smell of the stuff we use for cleaning. It’s a small place. We have the main chair in the back and a small waiting area in the front with three or four plastic chairs. There’s usually a stack of old magazines on the side table. We don't have a big staff. It’s just a couple of us here. We spend our time looking at teeth and talking to the families from the nearby buildings. The door has a bell that rings whenever someone comes in. We have a small desk where we keep the appointment book. It’s all very straightforward. We don't have any TV in the waiting room, just a clock on the wall that ticks quite loudly. Sometimes we can hear the birds outside. It’s a calm environment compared to the shops in the main market. We open up in the morning, do our work, and lock up when the sun goes down. It’s a good spot for a local business. We have a small blue curtain for privacy.
