Riya Classes

We are located at Office No 1 and 2 on the Ghansoli Main Road. If you know where the Om Sai Hotel is, we’re just above it. Being on the main road means it gets quite loud with all the buses and rickshaws honking throughout the day, but you sort of get used to the background noise after a while. We started Riya Classes because we saw a lot of kids in Ghansoli needing a bit of extra help outside of school. The offices aren't anything fancy, just some basic rooms with enough light and space for everyone to sit down comfortably. We usually open up in the afternoon when the schools start finishing. There’s a lot of paper and pens lying around, and the schedules on the wall are always being updated. Sometimes we have to move the chairs around to make room for a bigger group. It’s not a corporate environment at all; it’s just a place where students come to learn and we do our best to help them. We spend a lot of time grading papers and talking to the families who live nearby. Navi Mumbai - 400701 is a big area, but Ghansoli feels like its own little village sometimes. We’ve been here for a good bit now, and we plan to stay. It’s just honest work, helping kids get through their exams and making sure they understand what’s in their books without making things too complicated for them.
