Our place is out in Rabale at Plot R-39, right in the middle of the T. T. C. Industrial Area. If you know M. I. D. C., you know it’s mostly just big warehouses and factories all lined up. We’ve been here for some time, and the building has seen better days, I guess, but it does what it needs to do. Most mornings start with checking the logs and making sure the supplies arrived okay at the loading dock. It’s pretty quiet in this part of Rabale compared to the city, which is nice for getting work done without too much distraction. We have a small crew here, mostly people from the nearby areas who take the train or ride their scooters in. The office part is just a couple of desks and a lot of filing cabinets that are probably way too full. We don’t really do much in the way of decorating, it’s mostly just functional stuff like posters about safety and a calendar that someone forgot to flip last month. The air gets a bit heavy with the smell of the industrial units nearby, but you get used to it after a week or so. We spend a lot of time on the phone or looking at spreadsheets, making sure everything is moving along as it should. It’s not a glamorous life, but we like the routine of being here in the industrial belt.
