Ramdev Handicraft Tharad

Ramdev Handicraft Tharad sits in Shop No-7 of the Ahinsa Building in Sector-18, Kamothe. It is a small space, but we have managed to pack it full of all sorts of things. Being near the Navdurga Building means there are always people walking past our window. We spend a lot of our time dusting the shelves because the Kamothe breeze brings in a fair bit of grit. The shop is a mix of different colors and textures from all the handcrafted items we keep in stock. It is not a quiet place, as the street noise from Sector-18 is always there, especially in the evenings. We usually have a few boxes sitting in the aisle that we haven't found a place for yet. It is the kind of shop where you have to move something to see what is behind it. We know the other shopkeepers around here, and we often spend time chatting at the doorway when things are slow. Dealing with handicrafts means every piece is a little different, and we spend a lot of time explaining that to customers who are used to factory-made stuff. It is a simple life of opening up in the morning, arranging the display, and seeing who comes through the door. We don't have a website or anything like that, just the physical shop where people can come and look at things themselves.
