Raj-Kiran Industries

You can find us at 88/A in Sector 23 over in Turbhe. It’s a standard industrial plot, nothing too special to look at from the outside. Raj-Kiran Industries has been here for years, and the building shows a bit of its age. The gates are heavy and they squeak every time the morning shift arrives. Inside, it’s mostly just open floor space filled with equipment. We don't spend much time in the office; we’re usually out where the noise is. The neighborhood is full of other workshops and factories, so there’s always the sound of metal or engines in the background. We keep a pretty tight schedule, but we aren't robots. We take our breaks and talk about the cricket scores or the weather. The roof leaks a little when the monsoon hits hard, but we just put a bucket under it and keep moving. It’s honest work. We don’t go in for big meetings or long-winded plans. We just see what needs to be made and we make it. Our hands stay dirty for most of the day. That’s just the nature of what we do at 88/A. People know us in Turbhe as the guys who stay late to finish a batch. It’s not a glamorous life, but it’s ours and we’ve built it piece by piece over the seasons.
