Rahul Engineers

Our office is in Sanpada at Sector 8 in Navi Mumbai. Specifically it is Flat No D 11 12 which we turned into a workspace. It doesn't look like a typical engineering firm from the outside because it's in a residential block but we have everything we need inside to get the jobs done. Working in Navi Mumbai is a bit different than the main city because it feels like there is more breathing room even though Sector 8 is still quite busy. I spend most of my time looking at drawings and checking figures. The desks are covered in rolls of paper and old coffee mugs. It’s a small team here at Rahul Engineers and we mostly just focus on the tasks at hand without much fuss. The lift in the building is a bit slow so I usually take the stairs to the flat. Sometimes the neighbors complain if we stay too late but we try to be quiet. We have been here for a few years now and the location works well for getting to sites around Mumbai. It isn't a high-rise office with a view of the ocean but it is practical. We just do the engineering work and try to keep things moving. Most days involve a lot of phone calls and scribbling notes on whatever paper is nearby. I usually bring my lunch from home and eat at the desk while working.
