If you head down to the T.T.C. Industrial Estate in Midc, you’ll find us at Plot C-239. It’s right in Pawane Village, which is a busy spot full of trucks and warehouses. We handle railings, so there is always a lot of stainless steel and glass being moved around. The warehouse is big and can get quite dusty when the wind blows through the open bay doors. We spend a lot of time checking measurements and making sure the finishes on the metal are right. It’s a lot of physical work, loading up trucks and unloading crates that come in from the port. Our office is just a small part of the building, mostly used for drawing up plans and taking orders over the phone. You won't find any marble floors here; it’s all functional and built for heavy use. Sometimes we have to shout a bit to be heard over the sound of a forklift or a saw cutting through a rail. Most of the guys live nearby, so there is a lot of local talk about the cricket scores or the state of the roads after a big rain. We’re just a bunch of people who know our way around a piece of steel and aren't afraid of a little hard work to get the railings shipped out. We usually close up early on Saturdays if the week's orders are all finished and ready to go.
