Sarvoday Krishi Kendra

We are located right in the Sahakar Nagar Market Yard in Old Panvel. It’s a busy spot, especially in the early mornings when the trucks start rolling in and the farmers are everywhere. We have three shops combined together, 121, 122, and 123, which gives us a bit more room to keep things organized, though it still feels cramped most days. Being in the market yard means there is always noise and movement outside the door. If you know Panvel, you know how it gets during the monsoon or when the harvest season is in full swing. We spend a lot of time just talking to the folks who come in from the nearby villages. Our counters are usually covered in dust from the bags being moved around, but that’s just how it is here. The staff has been here for years, and we know most of the regulars by their first names. We open up pretty early because that’s when the work happens. It’s not a fancy place with air conditioning or anything like that. Just a solid space with heavy shelves and a lot of bags stacked up in the back. Sometimes the traffic in Old Panvel makes it hard for deliveries to get through, but we manage somehow. We’ve seen the market change a lot over the years, but our spot in Sahakar Nagar stays pretty much the same. It’s a lot of hard work and long hours, but it’s what we do.
