Bombay Weld Industries

Our shop is at D-116 in the PAP MIDC area, right near L.P. and just behind Hotel Manish in New Bombay. If you know the hotel, you can’t miss us. It’s a gritty part of town, lots of metal and sparks. We spend most of our time around welding gear and heavy equipment. The air usually smells like burnt metal and grease, which is just part of the job. It’s not the kind of place where you’d want to wear a nice shirt. Most of us have holes in our clothes from the stray sparks. We’ve been in this spot for a long time. The building is old and the roof leaks a little when it rains hard, but we’ve got buckets for that. We aren't interested in being a big corporate entity. We’re just a group of guys who know how to work with steel and iron. Customers come by with all sorts of broken things or sketches on napkins, and we see what we can do. It’s noisy and hot, especially in the summer months, but we have a couple of big fans that help a bit. We don't have a website or anything fancy like that. Word of mouth is how most people find us. We just stick to what we’re good at and try to stay out of trouble. It’s a simple life, working with our hands every day.
