Mahatma Gandhi Mission's College Of Engineering And Technology

Our college is located right at the junction of the NH4 and the Sion-Panvel Expressway over in Kamothe. It is a very visible spot if you are driving toward Pune or heading back into Mumbai. Because of where we are, we have students coming in from all the nearby areas like Panvel, Belapur, and even further down the highway. The campus is actually quite large and has a good amount of open space compared to the colleges you find in the middle of the city. We have several separate buildings for the different engineering branches. It is a busy place, and you can always hear the sound of the traffic from the expressway in the background. The labs are equipped with the standard tools and machinery that the courses require. We have been here for quite a while now, and the whole area of Kamothe has really grown and developed around us. Inside the gates, it is mostly just students rushing off to their next lecture or sitting in the library trying to get their assignments finished on time. The staff rooms are usually pretty cluttered with project reports and old attendance registers. We do not go in for anything that looks too decorative; it is just a functional environment meant for studying. There is a canteen where everyone tends to gather for lunch. It is a simple life here, mostly centered around the academic calendar. We just keep things moving every day.
