Bake Ur Day

Bake Ur Day is located right opposite the Reliance Dakc Gate No.3 in Mahape, Ghansoli. If you are ever in the area, you can probably smell the bread and cakes before you even see the shop. We start very early in the morning when the air is still a bit cool. The ovens take a while to heat up, so that is the first thing we do. Our space is usually covered in a fine layer of flour, no matter how much we clean it. We have a small counter where we keep the fresh stuff. The Reliance employees start coming in around nine for their morning snacks, and that is usually our busiest time. We don't have a lot of seating, just a couple of stools. Most people just grab what they need and head to work. The back of the shop is where all the actual work happens, with the mixers and the cooling racks. It gets very hot in there during the afternoon. We often have the radio playing in the background to keep us going. Sometimes we run out of certain things by midday, and we have to quickly whip up another batch. It is a tiring job, standing on your feet all day, but it is what we do. We just keep the trays moving and make sure everything is ready for the next rush of people.
