Life Care Hospital

Our hospital is over in Kamothe, specifically in Sector 36 near Nandanvan Park. If you are on Mansarovar Station Road, you will find us at Plot 9. It’s a busy area with a lot of new buildings and shops coming up all the time. Life Care Hospital has been part of this growing neighborhood for a bit now, and we’ve seen the streets get much more crowded. The road outside can get pretty dusty with all the construction going on nearby, so we are always sweeping the entrance to keep it clean. Inside, it’s a bit of a tight squeeze sometimes because we try to fit in as many beds as we can for the people who need them. We have a small waiting area where people sit and wait for their names to be called by the nurse. It’s not a fancy place with private suites and television sets; it’s mostly shared rooms and a lot of activity throughout the day and night. The nurses are always on the move, and the doctors usually have a line of people waiting to see them. We don’t have any polished speeches about what we do or why we do it. We just show up every morning, put on our uniforms, and start seeing the patients. It’s a lot of hard work, and the hours are definitely long. Sometimes the neighborhood noise comes right through the windows, but that’s just how life is in Kamothe.
