K. H. Shoes Private Limited is based out of K.H. House at 2, Thiru Narayana Guru Road in Choolai. Choolai has a long history with leather and shoes, so it feels right for us to be here. K.H. House is an older building, the kind with thick walls and high ceilings. You can feel the history when you walk in. Inside, there's always the distinct scent of leather and glue. It’s what we breathe all day. Our desks are scattered around the main floor. We spend a lot of time looking at shoe designs and checking the quality of the soles. It’s a hands-on kind of place. Thiru Narayana Guru Road is always buzzing with activity. We see people passing by the windows all day long. Sometimes it gets a bit loud with the traffic, but we are used to it by now. We aren't a big, cold factory. We are a team of people who actually care about the shoes we make. There’s a lot of back and forth between the office and the workspace. We might have some tea spills on a few old reports, and the furniture has definitely seen better days. But it’s comfortable. We know where everything is. K. H. Shoes Private Limited has been a part of this neighborhood for a long time. We just keep our heads down and do the work at 2, Thiru Narayana Guru Road.
