Rajkamal Fine Fabrics And Customised Tailoring

We are located in the Elora Fiesta building, occupying both shop number 04 and shop number 11. It’s quite convenient being right opposite the Juinagar station because we see the crowds coming and going all day. The morning rush is something else, with people running to catch their trains while we are just opening up the shutters. In shop 11, we keep most of the fabrics. There are bolts of cloth leaning against every available surface. Then in shop 04, that’s where the actual tailoring happens. You can hear the rhythmic clicking of the sewing machines from the sidewalk. We have a couple of master tailors who have been with us for a long time, and they usually have chalk marks all over their hands. It’s a busy environment with measuring tapes draped over shoulders and pins stuck in cushions. Sometimes customers come in with a specific idea and we have to spend a lot of time looking through the fabric stacks to find the right match. The space is a bit tight, especially when we have a lot of orders piled up, but we make it work. We don't really have a big staff, just a few of us who know how to handle the shears and the needles. It’s a lot of standing and bending over tables, but that’s the nature of custom work. We take our time with each piece because rushing never leads to a good fit and people expect things done right.
