Jeevan Chemicals & Pharmaceuticals

Our unit is C-431 in the TTC Industrial Area in Turbhe. This part of Navi Mumbai is strictly for industries, so it’s all factories and warehouses around us. We deal with chemicals and some pharmaceutical ingredients. It is a serious business because everything has to be measured just right. Our facility is not very big, but we use every inch of it. We have some lab equipment and a lot of storage racks for the raw materials. The air around here often smells like different chemicals, which is something you just get used to after a week. Our team is small, maybe six or seven people on a normal day. We spend a lot of time wearing masks and gloves while we handle the products. It’s not the kind of place where you wear a suit to work. Most of us wear sturdy clothes that can get a bit dirty. We get our shipments through the big trucks that roll through Turbhe all day and night. The railway station is not too far, so some of us take the train. We have been in this spot for several years now. It is a good location for reaching customers in Mumbai and Pune. We keep our heads down and just focus on the batches we are processing. It is simple enough but takes a lot of care.
