We are based in the Saamna Press Building on the first floor, which is right behind the Inorbit Mall in Vashi. It’s a great spot because the mall is such a huge landmark that nobody ever has trouble finding us. Being an institute for fashion technology, the rooms are usually filled with rolls of fabric, half-finished garments, and people sketching out new ideas. It can get a bit cluttered and loud when the sewing machines are all going at the same time, but that’s just the nature of the work. We aren't interested in looking like a stiff corporate office. We want it to feel like a place where you can actually make things with your hands. The staff here at Jd Institute Of Fashion Technology mostly focuses on the practical side of the industry. We spend our time showing people how to cut patterns or choose the right materials for a project. The Vashi area is always buzzing with energy, and there are plenty of places nearby to get a quick bite when we take a break. The building itself is quite plain, but inside there is a lot of creativity happening every day. We don't have any polished speeches about the future of fashion; we just get down to the business of teaching and designing. It’s a straightforward environment where the focus is on the craft itself rather than anything else.
