General Motors India Pvt Ltd is over in Belapur, specifically in the Artist Village area. It’s a bit different from the usual office blocks you see around Navi Mumbai. We’re in Row House G-3, which gives it more of a homey feel than a corporate one. Sector 8B is generally okay, though the parking can be a bit of a headache if you arrive late in the morning. Most of us take the train or a bus and then walk a bit from the station. The neighborhood is mostly quiet, which is nice when you’re trying to focus on work. We’ve been at this address for a while now and most of the locals know where we are. It’s not a fancy glass building or anything, just a regular place where the work happens every day. You might miss the turn if you aren’t looking for the specific row house number. Inside, it’s just desks and chairs and people doing their daily tasks. We don't have a big reception desk or someone in a suit waiting at the door. It’s just us. Sometimes we go out for tea at the corner shop when the afternoon slump hits. The rains in Navi Mumbai can be quite something, and the street outside can get a bit flooded, but we manage to keep things moving. It’s a practical spot for us, right here in the middle of CBD Belapur, and it suits how we like to do things without too much fuss or noise. It's just our regular base.
