We are based at Plot No A 730 in the Midc Mahape Ttc Industrial Area. This is a huge industrial zone and there are thousands of businesses around us. Our building is dedicated to working with colors and dyes. When you walk in, you might see different splashes of color on the floor or the walls near the mixing vats. We work with big batches of pigments and it can get quite messy if we aren't careful. The smell of the dyes is something you get used to after a few days. We have large stirrers and heaters that run for hours at a time. The power bills in Mahape are always a bit high because of the machinery we use. We have a loading dock where we move the crates of finished color out to the trucks. Traffic in the TTC area is always a headache in the evenings, so we try to get our shipments out early. We don't have a fancy lobby or any corporate displays. It’s just a factory floor and a small space for the supervisors to sit. Most of us wear old clothes because something always gets stained eventually. We focus on getting the shades right and making sure the batches are consistent. It’s a lot of manual work and we stay busy from Monday to Saturday every week.
