Dr Dilip Rane Hospital

We are over at F-1 Building D 2, in Sector No 9. Vashi is a big area, but Sector 9 has its own little rhythm. Most people know the building. It’s not the newest place on the block, but it serves the purpose. We are on the ground floor mostly, which makes it easier for people who can't walk up stairs very well. The hospital has been running here for a good bit of time. Every morning we roll up the shutters and start the day. There is always a bit of dust because of the construction nearby, so we spend a lot of time sweeping. It’s just how it goes in Vashi. The waiting room fills up pretty quick in the evenings. We have some old magazines on the table, though nobody really reads them anymore because they’re all on their phones. It gets a bit loud when the local market is in full swing. We know the tea seller around the corner pretty well. He brings us tea twice a day. The staff here are mostly local people. We don't have any big corporate rules or anything. We just try to get through the appointments and help whoever walks through the door. Sometimes the computers act up and we have to do things on paper for a bit. It’s a busy life here in Sector 9, but we are used to the pace by now.
