Our office is over at the Mansarovar Complex in Kamothe, New Mumbai. We are in unit 2B/604. It’s a standard commercial building and we’ve been here for a bit now. Being in Kamothe means we are away from the main madness of downtown Mumbai, but it’s still a pretty lively area with plenty going on. The office is where we handle all the group's business, which involves a lot of paperwork and meetings throughout the day. It’s a fairly small space, so we have to stay organized or we lose things. There are files everywhere and a couple of computers that have seen better days but still work. We don't have any fancy signs or a big lobby to impress people. People just come in, sit down, and we get to work. Most of our day is spent on the phone or dealing with the logistics of whatever project is currently on the go. We have a few desks squeezed in and a small area in the corner for making tea. It’s a practical place for us to work. Sometimes the elevator in the complex is a bit slow or stops working, so we end up taking the stairs. We just do our thing without a lot of ceremony or fancy titles. The neighborhood has a lot of other small businesses, so there’s always people moving around the corridors and talking. We just try to stay on top of our tasks and keep the business running smoothly from our spot in Maharashtra. It’s just regular work.
