We are based in Airoli, Navi Mumbai, specifically at F/117 in Sector 3. Boxtrans Shipping Agencies has been operating from this location for quite some time now. Being in Navi Mumbai is great because we are close to the ports, which is essential for what we do. We handle shipping and agency work, which basically means a lot of paperwork and coordination with vessels and containers. It’s a fast-paced environment and the office can get quite loud with all the phone calls and people coming in and out. We aren't a big, polished company with a lobby and a receptionist. It’s just a workspace where we get down to business. We spend a lot of time tracking shipments and making sure the documentation is in order so things don’t get stuck at the customs. Sometimes it’s frustrating when there are delays we can't control, but we just keep pushing through. We’ve got a small team that knows the ropes and we help each other out when things get busy. It’s a practical business and we don't try to make it sound more glamorous than it is. We just want to make sure the containers get where they need to go. Working in Sector 3 has been good for us, and we’ve made some good friends in the local area over the years. We stay focused on the task at hand.
